Welcome to Leicester Rowing Club! We are a small friendly rowing club in the heart of the City of Leicester, on the Grand Union Canal "Mile Straight".
We have modern storage and changing facilities in the new Club House built in 1996. We are home to
Leicester University BC, De Montfort University RC, West End Runners Club.
We also have a bar and function room which is available for hire.
Beginners' Courses
The next beginners' courses will start on Sunday 4th. May 10am.and one evening in the week (probably Thursdays at 6:30pm) depending on the consensus!
There will be a fee of £30 (£15 for Juniors) which will be refunded if you become a member of the club. You will usually be rowing with the mainstream novice squad after about 8 weeks of coaching on the course.

You must be able to swim 50 Meters in light clothing.
New to Leicester ?
Rowers with previous experience are encouraged to visit the club on weekday evenings from 6pm onwards (not Fridays) or weekend mornings from 8:30am. (10am is best) Please make yourself known to any committee member.!!! Students !!!!
We offer reduced rate vacation membership for university students.Why not learn to scull over the Summer !!!
