Aim for Leicester city centre and the inner ring road.
From the M1/M69 Junction 21 take the A5460 to the city centre for about 2 miles
then about 250m after you go under the railway bridge look for a right turn at a
set of traffic lights onto Upperton Road. The clubhouse is 400m along Upperton road
on the right hand side just before the river.
There is a Temporary Upperton Rd. in place for 2008 while the viaduct is being demolished, see plan above
From other directions get onto the inner ring road and head south towards Leicester City
Football Club and the Welford Road rugby ground.
Here there is a large one way system.
Going round the system there is a left turn at a set of traffic lights just before the
Leicester Royal Infirmary, signposted to the M1. This is Walnut Street.
The Rowing Club is about 600m down here on the left, just after the bridge over the river.
