The houses are very traditional and rural and would suit adventurous types
looking for peace and quiet,
mountain walking, riding,
paragliding etc. and as a base
to explore this historic region of Bulgaria. They are in easy reach
from Sofia airport by train or hire car from Plovdiv airport.
The nearest large town is Karlovo, birthplace of Bulgaria's greatest hero Vassil Levski.
